2 TRUTHS 1 LIE
1. Post with your character.

2. In your comment, have your character state three things about themselves. 2 of those things should be the truth. 1 of them should be a lie.

3. Respond to other characters, and try to guess which one of their statements are a lie. Can you guess correctly?

4. Have fun! Take turns! And don't forget, sometimes the truth can be a whole lot stranger than fiction.

The Bad Ending

The dust has settled, and nobody is coming to clean up the wreckage.

You might have been crushed under the weight of it. Or you dragged yourself across the finish line only to realize the price of victory was everything you actually cared about keeping. The heavy door swung shut, the bargain was struck, and the ink dried before you understood what you'd agreed to lose.

Select your ruin. Then figure out what you're doing with whatever's left standing.

HOW TO PLAY
  • Drop your character, canon, and content preferences in a comment.
  • You know how this ends.
GEN
  1. TOO LATE: You broke every rule to get there in time. It wasn't enough.
  2. THE WRONG CHOICE: You were backed into a corner with two terrible options and picked the one you swore you could live with. Turns out you drastically overestimated yourself.
  3. PYRRHIC VICTORY: You won. Take a look at what it cost. Was it worth the trophy?
  4. LEFT BEHIND: One of you crawled out of the wreckage; the other didn't. Somehow, you're back in the same room, carrying on a conversation with a ghost or a survivor who can't look you in the eye.
  5. THE DEAL: You got exactly what you asked for down to the letter. The fine print just took something you didn't realize you couldn't live without.
  6. FAILED THEM: They put their entire life in your hands. You dropped it.
  7. YOU KNEW: One of you saw this disaster coming from miles away and kept quiet. The other just put the pieces together.
  8. NOTHING LEFT TO SAVE: The fighting stopped because there isn't anything left to burn. Why are you two still holding weapons?
  9. THE COST: Something precious had to go on the altar, and one of you made the executive call without asking.
  10. WILDCARD: Hand them the absolute worst plausible outcome for their situation, then step directly into the aftermath.
ROMANCE
  1. WE MISSED IT: The feelings were entirely real. The timing was an absolute catastrophe.
  2. TOO LATE TO SAY IT: One of you finally chokes out an admission after it can no longer change the outcome.
  3. I CHOSE WRONG: When the pressure spiked, you chose duty, cowardice, pride, or vengeance over them. Now you have to live with what you picked.
  4. THE BREAKUP THAT STUCK: No desperate speeches in the rain, no dramatic late-night reversals. Just two people quietly realizing it's over for good.
  5. ONE LAST NIGHT: You both know this is the last night you'll have together. How do you spend it?
  6. DON'T WAIT FOR ME: One of you is walking away into something fatal or permanent, and you're not asking for their permission to do it.
  7. WE CAN'T BE THIS ANYMORE: The love hasn't gone anywhere. Staying together is still doing damage neither of you can ignore.
  8. I CAN'T FORGIVE YOU: The love is still sitting right there between you, but so is what you did.
  9. THE LAST KISS: No romantic miracle, no last-second rescue. Just kissing them goodbye knowing you'll never touch them again.
  10. STAY GONE: You came back hoping to find something worth saving. They've already learned how to live without you.
  11. WILDCARD: Give the relationship its absolute worst plausible ending, then put the characters face-to-face one last time.

THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE (thing)

Two people need the same thing, and there’s only one.

Sometimes you can split it, share it, take turns, or squeeze in. Sometimes you can’t. Either way, both of you have to decide what happens next.

HOW TO PLAY
  • Drop your character, canon, and any preferences.
  • Tag around.
  • Pick a prompt or roll.
  • Keep it petty or make it life-or-death. Your call.

OVER A DRINK
1. Post with your character.

2. You're at a bar. What kind of bar? Any kind you want. From fantasy taverns where various species mingle to futuristic space bars where half the drinks will probably kill you, or even an an overly kistch themed place where everything is overpriced, it's all good as long as there are drinks and company.

3. Respond to other characters. Perhaps you want to buy them a drink. Or perhaps you're inclined to be bought a drink. Maybe you saw someone you knew, or maybe you just want someone to talk to. Could be there's nowhere else to sit, and could be you want to drag them out to dance.

4. Get drunk. Or don't! Be the guest, or the bartender, or the newcommer, or even the janitor. Mingle, make friends, or lurk in a corner.

5. They say alcohol lowers one's inhibitions. Might just be time to find out how much.

RATE THAT CHEST MEME

You know the "rate that ass" meme? Well, here's a meme that allows you to rate the opposite! This includes a man's chest, a woman's chest, even a treasure chest if you're really into that sort of thing. Just show it off and give a rating from 0 (the absolute worst!!) to 10 (HELL YEAH) and go from there. Simple as that! And make sure to have fun!

It's only been... okay, I don't want to think how long.

We are preparing to take the beta update page and the beta inbox out of beta with the next code release. We don't have an exact date yet, but this is your last chance to tell us about problems!

To enable the beta versions: go to Beta Features and enable the "new Create Entries" beta test for the new update page and the "New Inbox Page" for the, well, new inbox page.

If this is your first time using the beta update page: nearly everything on it can be adjusted, moved, or removed to some degree. The upper right side of the update form has a " ⚙️ Rearrange Panels" link.

Not every panel is enabled by default! If you don't see something you're used to finding, look in the disabled panels. While in Rearrange mode, you can enable or disable panels, drag them to whatever position you want, and generally customize it to your heart's content.

Once we push the button and switch to the new update and inbox pages for everyone, we cannot keep the old ones available. We are so close to finishing the decade-long "get rid of the undocumented custom templating language from 1996 that no one else uses" modernization project that's been sapping our collective will to live that we can taste it, and we can't convert the old update page and the updated inbox page is the converted version. This is your last chance to alert us of problems. If you let us know after the switch goes live, we'll still fix it, but we can't guarantee how fast. Prevent future problems and test drive them now!

You need a second opinion, and this is the person you’ve chosen to ask. Good luck with that.

HOW TO PLAY
  • Comment with your character, preferences, and the question.
  • Give enough context to make it taggable.
  • Tag around and answer in character.
EXAMPLES

"I’ve been staring at this outfit for ten minutes and I’ve lost all perspective. Does this work, or am I changing?"

"I can’t tell if they’re flirting with me or if they’re just like that with everybody. What does this look like to you?"

"Someone offered me a deal that sounds almost too good, and I can’t tell whether I’m being paranoid. Would you take it?"

Arranged Marriage

Congratulations!

You're getting married. Whether that's exciting, horrifying, politically necessary, or simply the least bad option on the table is another matter entirely.

Your parents signed the contract before either of you could walk. A monarch looked at a map and decided this seemed like a sensible way to prevent a war. Somebody inherited a title, a curse, or a kingdom with a spouse conveniently attached.

Whatever the reason, the wedding's happening.

Now comes the awkward part: figuring out what exactly to do with the person you're expected to spend the rest of your life with. You might fall in love, or you might spend the entire marriage plotting each other's untimely demise. There's plenty of room in between.

RULES
  • Standard meme practices apply here, as always.

It's just like nature intended.

яυℓєѕ

  • Comment with your character, preferences, and the like. You'll probably want to include just what you're comfortable with, because this meme will have some out-there choices.

  • Also, feel free to assume any amount of aphrodisiacs as needed. There's a proper option for that, but you can combine it with any others for ease of play.

  • Speaking of, you'll most likely want to mention if you're cool with assumed CR and AUs.

  • WITH THAT SAID. Reply to others. RNG. You know the drill.

THE INTIMACY MEME

At some point, they stopped being company. They know where you keep things. You've seen them sick, half-asleep, furious, embarrassed, or standing in your kitchen looking for a clean glass. They ask for help with things they used to handle alone. You don't always notice when all of that becomes normal.

How to Play
  • Comment with your character, canon, preferences, and limits.
  • Tag around. Pick a prompt or roll 1–73.
  • Play established closeness or the first time your characters let each other in. Gen and shipping both belong here.

FUCK*, MARRY, OR KILL
a game with a twist

You know the game: now, let’s dabble in a version that’s a little bit unusual.

how to play
○ Do the comment do.
○ Folks line up to say whether they would fuck* (*kiss, if your character's underage or you're not into R-rated dialogue), marry, or kill your guy.
○ Rinse. Repeat. ♾️

YOUNG LOVE MEME

You’ve kissed already, and somehow that has only created more questions. How often are you supposed to call? Is meeting their friends a big deal? If they go quiet after an argument, are they cooling off or are you suddenly single?

Neither of you has much practice at this. Unfortunately, you like each other enough for every little mistake to matter.

HOW TO PLAY
  • Comment with your character, canon, and preferences. Tag around and pick or roll a prompt.
  • Play an early love, with as much invented history as you need. AUs and age-downs are welcome; inexperience is the point.

AUTUMN AFTER
DARK ✦
The day emptied out while you weren’t paying attention. Now the shops are closing, porch lights are coming on, and every gust sends another scrape of leaves across the pavement.

It’s colder than it was an hour ago. The air smells like woodsmoke somewhere nearby. You had some reason for being out tonight, and now you’re still here after most people have gone inside.

Somebody else is, too.
HOW TO PLAY
